Updates 01/09/2011
Due to lack of time regarding major updates, i have brought forward a different patch to SpeedWars.
Firstly i will start off with a few recent news that you may or may not be aware of. Positions within SpeedWars has changed, fresh blood has been added to the staff with some removed. Welcome patchard aka (Alec, ingame) to the SpeedWar Staff.
Alec will be assisting the players in being the 'middle man' for myself (Excuses) and Rolz14. Alec's new role is to be the Moderator of SpeedWar and a sort-of diplomat. If you have any queries, ideas, issues (cheating, hacking, abuse, etc) feel free to bring it to him.
Sjekke remains as Head Admin, if you have any queries you can also try and catch him online.
Things to be removed in the next few months
I have played quite a bit in the last few days, making decisions on how to better the game, so in that i have come to the conclusion of the following to be removed completely from SpeedWars.
Officer UP Bonus
Officer Limit
4 Countries
Resilence Action + Engineers
Future Additions
Alliance UP Bonus
Player Growths (Soldiers Gained)
Complete new messaging system (signatures, colour, etc)
New ticket system (to admins)
Current features, just modified
Once again we will be changing a few things regarding the game play style. All of these changes are debateable, visit us on mIRC # irc.cyanide-x.net 6667 and join /join #speedwar .
Experience
Experience will now be carried OVER to future ages (3 ages only, then u must spend) and can be spent on anything that is available. However, the max total exp you will be allowed is 20,000,000!
Exp trade for soldiers and turns, no more. You will be able to purchase the following with EXP.
Soldiers
Attack Turns
Unit Production
Any sort of Upgrade (SA,DA,CA,SF,HH)
12 hours of 'boost' (Income, UP, Stat wise)
Want to hide 'from' those pesky f5ers? Get 2,4,6,12 hours of freedom. No one can attack, spy, thieve or do anything towards you. (However, lowers income, UP by 20%)
More may be added eventually, you may also purchase EXP by donating.
Prisoners of War / Thieving(rules)
Features have been put in place to keep an 'eye' on everyone, this rule has now changed.
You may now Thieve or PoW anyone in your CHAIN i.e Your commanders, officers, officer. BUT only if they are NOT in the same alliance as you.
A hint, attackings, spying and thieving now have Alliance ID logged, so you cannot kick then pow or thieve them.
Think you can just have someone out of alliance, but untrained all the time or just for you? Don't be stupid with this, admins and moderators have been told to ban if they even *think* it is on purpose. Everything is logged, everything is seen.
If you break this rule, you are banned for 2 ages with supporter status lost. You will also be restricted.

Contacting Administrators / Moderators
Players have been talking about the lack of response from us, this will now be solved easily.
There will be a contact us form within the next few weeks being placed in the game, it will email each admin/moderator. You can also choose which admin/moderator you wish to speak to regarding any issues.
However, some will not be sent to Excuses (ash) or Rolz, if it's simply a cheating accusation, abusive or innapropriete behaviour iname, please see the other admins/moderators.
